About me
RIBA Chartered Architect - Bristol & South West
Simon Mundy projects
I set up Simon Mundy Projects 12 years ago with an ambition to provide an architectural service and to facilitate doing my own projects. The architectural services for homeowners aim to improve their homes and aid living a more sustainable lifestyle. For myself the aims are similar. With a young family I wanted to work from home and have the ability to do the school run and participate in family activities whilst building our own home and working.
To date I have completed over 20 residential projects including new build, extensions, loft conversions, renovations and retrofit. Most of my Projects have have been in either Bristol or London. Many of which are within the conservation areas which require thoughtful design solutions.
Before:
I studied Architecture at Portsmouth University and Lā Ecole dā Architecture de Nantes. I have previously worked in London and Winchester at ECD, RHWL, Populous, London 2012 Olympic and Paralymic Bid Team, Karakusevic + Carson and Design Engine. During this time I have gained extensive experience and worked on a number of high profile, complex and award wining projects.
